DIY {Toilet Paper Roll} Wall Art

Toilet Paper Roll Wall Art with ALittleClaireification.com #DIY #Crafts #Art

Just based on the title you might be asking yourself  “Has it really come to this?  Toilet Paper Roll Wall Art, Claire??”.   The simple answer is…  “Yes.  Yes, it has”. (and don’t judge me). ;)  I am not a hoarder or a bag lady or anything like that but I did get “the look” from The Husband while I was collecting the empty rolls.  I got asked more than once if it was trash.

Back off, trash man.  “I… am a crafter!!” (for the record, this is NOT more convincing when said in a lofty voice.  There might have been a few eye rolls).

We’re a family of five, mind you, so collecting this stash took a week.  Maybe less (I’ve shared too much… lol ).  Anyway, I am SUPER excited to be sharing this “How To” today over at Live. Laugh. Rowe(fabulous!!) so just go ahead and pop on over and see how I made it HERE!

xoxo,

Claire

  1. Very cute! My hubby would give me grief, too…they just don’t get it ;)

  2. Thanks for sharing such a fun project with my lovely readers, Claire! Hugs. xo

  3. We use toilet paper rolls for TONS of things! I love this idea–for kids with fine motor issues painting toilet paper rolls, then cutting them out and arranging them . . . this is awesome.

We made fish by cutting a notch –the fish didn’t lay flat but that is ok–we did a “fisher of men” and we needed to fill up a net.

Not only is this cute it can be recycled! love art that can be recycled.

    • Renee, what other things do you use toilet paper rolls for? I’ve been saving LOTS of them and looking for multiple ways to use them. I’d love to hear your ideas and uses for them! :)

  4. That’s adorable and I never would have thought it to be toilet paper rolls – genius!

  5. Awesome! I have always wanted to do this and never think to hold onto those rolls until it’s too late. I am not chasing down the garbage man…not yet anyway! ;)

  6. I just toss the toilet paper rolls to the dogs! They run around the house like crazy men for a while, playing keep away, then when they lose interest, I just clean up the pieces. Your idea seems much better!

    • Ha! Our black lab used to love a paper towel (or wrapping paper) roll. Fun memories right there. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  7. My kids bring me all sorts of random stuff and ask “Can you make something with that? Should we save it?” Love your art!

  8. And to think we have been burning all our toiler paper rolls in the woodstove! These are adorable!
