9 Fantastic Soups for Winter | Best Of The Weekend Party

Welcome back to “Best Of The Weekend”!  Did you all have a great week?

I, for one, have been in a funk this week and haven’t posted all week long.  That first Monday back after the busy holidays is always a doozy so I’m sorry I have been a little MIA.  Sometimes you have to step back and take a few days off.  I actually did write quite a bit, but just couldn’t get to the pictures so it will be a busy weekend for me!

We had so many amazing links last week.  After the holiday break it was so much fun seeing what you have all been up to so let’s get this party started, shall we??

Your fabulous party hosts are:  Nichi from The Mandatory MoochLisa from Cooking With Curls, Cindy from Little Miss Celebration and myself.  We are so thrilled to have you join us every Friday eve!

We always start with the most viewed link from the week before {if you still have any New Year’s noisemakers, blow them now!!} and it was this ridiculously AMAZING Chocolate & Peanut Butter Crepe Cake by Dieter’s Downfall!!

And what a perfect blog name too – as we all try to start off the New Year a little bit healthier she comes up with this?!    Holy chocolate and peanut butter – the people have spoken.  Yum.

Next up, my favorites and this week I decided soup was in order.  It has been sooo cold in many parts of the country and it even hit 32* one day this past week here in Central Florida {I know I will not get much sympathy!!} and there were so many awesome soup recipes this past week so here are NINE of them including one delicious chili recipe:

Don’t forget to check out LisaCindy and Nichi’s blogs for their favorites as well!  We cannot WAIT to see what you all bring to the party this week so let’s get it going!!

Please be sure to read through these easy GUIDELINES before linking up.  Thanks in advance for being awesome like that :

  1. Please follow the party hosts in some capacity {Blog, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, G+, etc}.  We work super hard to make this party awesome and to make sure that you are all pinned every week too!  Thank you!
  2. If you have time to add a link back or add our party button to your post we will, of course, gush all over you {and only say nice things behind your back}.  If you just don’t have that kind of time, could you maybe just share the party with your friends on some form of social media?  That would be so nice of you!!
  3. Make sure whatever you link is YOUR work and, please, no giveaways, link parties, or anything you are selling.  Also, feel free to link an older post but please don’t link the same post within a 3 month period.
  4. Lastly, please DO take a second to “PAY IT FORWARD” and click on the link right before yours and say something nice.  It only takes a second to encourage someone else and I think we ALL know how great it is to get a sweet comment on something we worked on.  So please share the love.
  5. LEGAL STUFF:  By linking up, you are granting the party hosts permission to promote you and an image from your site in a featured post or on social media. {Duh.} :)

That’s it.  Easy right??  Word.  Let’s party.
