Here we are in August – the month where Summer winds down and yet so many things ramp up. It’s a busy month packing in all the time we can before school starts. The last thing I want to do is be stuck in the kitchen, even if the inevitable afternoon storm has rolled in for a bit.
This last bit of Summer vacation finds me creating even more easy family meals so we can maximize our time together. Not to mention, it’s too hot to want to use the oven much anyway.
Italian Sausages and peppers are one of my Husband’s all time favorites and I decided they would be even easier to make in the slow cooker.
