Another Monday and, as usual, I come off of the weekend with all sorts of new things to share. A couple of recipes and my money saving DIY Wool Dryer Balls are coming later in the week too.
Our boys also just started in a kids hockey league over the weekend. I’ll be interested to see how it goes. I’m also praying for no broken bones or missing teeth. This isn’t the NHL, boys (and parents). Let’s keep it clean!
I whipped up a new side dish this past weekend – Slow Cooker Asiago and Asparagus Risotto – and Oh.My.Word. it was so good.
I adapted this recipe from one of my all time favorite slow cooker cookbooks – Crock-Pot® The Original Slow Cooker Recipe Collection (affiliate link) – and I could not be happier with the results, especially since we’re so used to making our own favorite mushroom risotto and having it take quite a bit of time and attention.
I LOVE that this one only takes five minutes prep. More time for Mom to go watch the kids play hockey (through my fingers that are covering my eyes).
Every month I share a delicious slow cooker recipe over at my friend Gina’s place – The Shabby Creek Cottage – so I am sharing this one over there!
