Is anyone else starting to feel the holiday crazy? Things were going pretty well over here so I thought I was pretty prepared and then we just found out we will be hosting some extra guests for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I’ll admit my anxiety levels rose just a wee bit.
In addition to extra meals and sleeping arrangements, I hadn’t gone too far with holiday decor this year. As I was pulling out some more decorations I realized my poor beach themed patio was lacking.
People love to hang out there and I though it would be really fun to add a little “Seas & Greetings” outside in one of our favorite spots!
The thing is I didn’t really have much time at all and I also didn’t have much in the way of beachy themed holiday decor.
After looking through the At Home Christmas Decor and the beautifully themed Christmas Trees on their website and grabbing some favorites for my list, I popped on over to the At Home store to check out their “Seas & Greetings” (I wish I had made that up – I didn’t) line of beachy / nautical themed holiday decorations.
I found a whole lot of cuteness – the store is HUGE. Aside from the fact that you can get great deals all year long, they have SO many holiday themes to choose from. There is something to suit every style for sure but I was on a particular mission! Beach Style Christmas!
We have a section of old wood fence that we keep out back and usually my starfish garland is on there with some other fun nautical lights. I really need to make some more starfish garland soon but I didn’t have time for that. The family is coming!!!
I used my nautical string lights and some fabulous ornaments I found at the At Home Store to decorate a table top tree and it is ADORABLE.
One tip if you are shopping for a certain theme – make sure to check in ALL the different areas. At Home has LOADS of pillows and I spent a little time looking through their selection to find these fabulous “Sand” and starfish pillows that accent my holiday display so perfectly.
The little driftwood tree, jute twine starfish tree & jute wrapped jar (they had several sizes of all three items) are great accents as well.
I also went into the floral section and found a whole basket of silver berry sprigs that work really great in the tree. Sometimes you have to “think outside the themed area” to bring an idea to life.
A little “star” on top? Perfect.
So now that my sweet little seaside themed patio is all set for the holidays with a perfect little beachy Tree for Me it mayyy just be time to sit back and enjoy a little nog, right? Ok, just for a few minutes. 😉
I’d really really love to hear about a themed holiday area in your home as well so be sure to tell me all about it! I hope you can all be #AtHomeForChristmas and, if not, that you will find some holiday cheer wherever you may be!
