I think a lot of us have Spring Fever right about now. Mr. Claire and I also have two spring weddings coming up so if you know anyone that is planning a wedding (or even planning a party), this week’s fun “Weddings In A Jar” series is just for them. I’m kicking it off with these adorable little Honey Jar Wedding Favors.
I have some free printables for you below that you can personalize. Sending your guests off with a sweet reminder of the big day has never been easier and this will make it less stressful because a bride already has plenty enough to plan as it is.
I sure do love Mr. Claire and thinking back on planning our wedding, which was relatively simple, I can still say that most grooms have it pretty easy! 😉
These sweet favors can also be used as part of place settings, as table numbers, and more.
Supplies You Will Need (afil. links included for your convenience):
- Mini Jars
- Honey (you can order online or buy at a bulk store)
- Wooden Honey Dippers(4 inch)
- Labels (free printable template below)
- Rafia or Jute Twine for tying
- Bride & Groom Initial Stamps (optional)
Putting these together is really self explanatory and I suggest grabbing a few friends (and maybe some Strawberry Lemonade Basil Cocktails) and having a little assembly party! Once your labels are printed and ready to go, simply fill the jars with honey and seal tightly.
Tie on the honey dipper by wrapping the rafia or jute around a couple times and making a double knot to secure. Leave the ends dangling until you attach the tag, then you can tie a little bow or knot again and trim the ends.
As for the labels, they are name & date free and here are just a few different examples of the many ways they can be personalized:
Once you download the labels below, you can take them into a free editing program like PicMonkey to add any personalizations if you would like. I love using PicMonkey for so many things and they can definitely be a great help with all kinds of projects.
You can leave the border on if you would like – it’s mainly a cutting guide. I finally got an inexpensive 12″paper cutter to help expedite all of these projects!
We really enjoy our week long themed jar series every few months and I hope you will pop over and take a look at what the other super talented ladies came up with for Day #1 as well. Links are below!
