Hi all! I’m Amy from Ms. Toody Goo Shoes, and for this month’s Home and Garden post, I’m staying indoors. After being teased with some gorgeous spring weather, we’re back to winter coats and scarves here in the northeast. Phooey.
Spring may be eluding me outdoors, but it’s alive and well on my kitchen table. I’ve got this little centerpiece thing going on, and it’s doing a great job of keep my spirits up until the temperature rises.
This idea wasn’t pre-meditated; it kind of just happened. When the supermarket didn’t have any rosemary in the produce section, I bought the whole plant. After using what I needed in my recipe, the plant sat on the kitchen table, looking pathetically lonely, so, I shopped my house for items to keep it company.
The Rosemary sign from my herb garden is an obvious addition.
One of my favorite things is a ceramic jar that I bought in Greece years ago. The colors, shape, and flowers tie in nicely with the garden theme that I didn’t know I was going for, but just kind of happened.
A stack of upside–down mini flower pots looked cute, but they were too tall. Placing two on their sides seems to do the trick.
See you in May…and I sure hope it’s warmer by then!
