Not sure what was going through my head when I agreed to host a double birthday party over at our place towards the end of this (crazy month) but… I did so, we are. #MamaIsCrazy
In light of a couple of fun adventures we have planned this summer, and the fact that our pool patio already has a beachy theme, we are going with that for the overall party theme as well. This Beach Themed Centerpiece is going to be perfect on the food table!
Are you wondering what “Styled x3” might mean, by the way? Well, every month three bloggers take the same item and style it in their own way. For this month’s round, Stacy from Not Just A Housewife sent me and Kim from The Kim Six Fix a simple Hyacinth bowl
.Of course I immediately thought it could be transformed into a perfect little beach party centerpiece (affiliate links included) so I whipped out my Krylon “Blue Ocean Breeze” spray paint and got to work.
Just a simple coat of paint and we are already feeling closer to the beach, right??
I had actually planned to decorate this basket with this adorable mini buoy garland but it was too cute to cut up! I love how it looks in the background, though.
So what do you think? Amazing how easy it is to transform something so simple into something so decorative and fun! Be sure to head over to Not Just A Housewife and The Kim Six Fix to see how Stacy and Kim styled their hyacinth bowls!
