We’ve had SO much fun this week with our “Summer In Jars” series and I’m wrapping it up with a perfectly festive Red White and Blue Summer Sangria!
I love sangria and generally I prefer red wine over white, but in the summer the white wine pairs so perfectly with fresh fruit and it makes for a pretty little party beverage as well.
Not to mention, everything looks better in a mason jar, am I right?
This sangria is super simple to make and can be ready in minutes. If you have time, however, I suggest letting it chill overnight to allow the fruit to “marinate” in the wine for more flavor.
- 2 bottles white wine
- 4 cups Sprite (or carbonated beverage of choice)
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 5-6 large strawberries, sliced
- 1 medium red apple, sliced
- Add all of the ingredients into a large pitcher.
- Chill overnight if possible.
- Serve cold.
Thanks so much for joining us for our “Summer In Jars” series this week! You can check out all of the other fun Day #5 posts below for more fun ideas. Happy Summer!
